Apostolos Pappas

Apostolos is a leading commercial lawyer, with a wealth of experience in international matters. His expertise is in advising on highly complex situations from both a legal and commercial standpoint. He has vast experience in acting in a long-term capacity to global groups, playing an integral part in the establishment and growth of their presence, and advising on all the legal aspects of their business and transactions. Apostolos is specialized in the structuring, negotiation and documentation of complex cross border transactions, contracts, restructurings and joint ventures. He advises extensively on bankruptcy and insolvencies and on the management of inter-familial expectations, wealth and asset structuring and ownership, investment migration and all aspects of lifetime and post death planning.

Apostolos has been in private practice since 2005 and has undertaken numerous advisory roles throughout his career, including General Counsel at various multinational enterprises, among which are the German based subsidiary of Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. Ltd (NYSE:YGE) and Sino-German CIP Holding AG, where he has been responsible for the legal aspects of the group’s global activities in Europe, Turkey, MEA, US, Latin America and Greater China since 2007.
