Ioannis is a prominent criminal lawyer and has acted in most of the major cases in this sector. He has vast experience in defending individuals in the criminal and civil courts in high profile financial fraud and white collar crime cases, with a focus on embezzlement and money laundering. He has an extensive understanding of the issues arising between employers and employees in both individual and collective labour law, and represents clients before the administrative and civil courts and tribunals in disputes in this sector. His client base includes major international and Greek companies from numerous industries. Ioannis has an expertise in acting in complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters in a contentious and advisory context.

Ioannis has acted in numerous advisory roles throughout his career, including as Special Legal Counsel to the Minister of Labour, Social Security and Welfare, as an acting member of the National Crime Prevention Council at the Ministry of Public Order and Protection of Citizens, and as a member of Legislative Committees of the Ministry of Labour. He was a member of the Board of Directors of IKA, the Greek Social Security Institute, and the Council for Social Security.
