Our Intellectual Property Practice advises on the identification, registration, protection and enforcement of all types of intellectual property rights, their commercial exploitation and their transfer, sale or purchase within the context of transactions. We take a hands-on approach to providing legal services in this sector, based on a thorough knowledge of the legislative and regulatory framework at a European and national level, and taking into account the importance of intellectual property assets to our clients’ businesses. We provide services to a wide cross-section of industries, notably pharmaceuticals, medical devices and medicinal products, food and beverages, telecoms, media and technology.

We are specialised in advising on how to effectively protect, file and register copyrights, patents, industrial designs, trade secrets and trademarks at a national and European level. We also advise our clients on the commercialisation of their intellectual property rights through licensing, merchandising and franchising arrangements, and the management of the risks associated with their encroachment. We conduct due diligence reviews of intellectual property assets in the context of their sale, purchase or transfer. In a contentious setting, where rights are infringed or unfair competition is in play, we represent clients in proceedings before national and European courts and trademark, copyright and patent offices.
